Two relief flights from UAE land in Rawalpindi 

Islamabad, August 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):In continuation of humanitarian air bridge established between Pakistan and UAE, two relief flights were received at Nur Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi on Tuesday. In a statement, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmed said during the last two days, 5 relief flights from UAE have landed in Pakistan carrying food, medical supplies and tents. He said these flights from brotherly countries form a humanitarian bond to help alleviate suffering caused by unprecedented monsoon rains and floods in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, two flights carrying relief assistance from Turkiye have also landed in Islamabad. Turkiye’s “Goodness Train” carrying much needed humanitarian aid including tents, food items, blankets, clothes departed on Tuesday from Ankara for Pakistan.
