The Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmad has issued an urgent directive to accelerate the disbursement of funds under the Prime Minister’s Ramazan Relief Package 2026, demanding that beneficiary accounts be created and activated at full scale in the coming days.
The instruction was delivered during a high-level meeting chaired by Shah in the capital to assess the preparedness and progress of the financial relief initiative, according to information by MOIB.
Minister Shah emphasised the critical need for the immediate mobilisation of all remaining recipients to guarantee seamless account activation and subsequent fund transfers, underscoring that these actions align with directives from the Prime Minister.
During the session, which included representatives from Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the minister commended the organisations for their proactive role and close coordination in the timely execution of the programme.
