This appeal highlighted prominent joint opportunities in sectors such as Dhabeji Special Economic Zone, textile, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, and energy.

These views were expressed today at Governor’s House during a discussion with an Uzbek business delegation led by Navoi Region Governor, Nurmat Tursunov. Uzbek Ambassador, Alisher Takhtayev, Chairman of Businessmen Group, Muhammad Zubair Motiwala, and Sohail Moten were also present on the occasion.

He emphasized the importance of strengthening trade ties between Navoi Region and Karachi, which is Pakistan’s primary economic hub. Both sides reiterated their commitment to enhancing bilateral trade, investment, and industrial cooperation.

Priority was expressed for establishing direct flights to Karachi, which would complement the existing air links from Uzbekistan to Lahore and Islamabad.
