Vice Chancellor Punjab University signs MoUs during China visit

A delegation from Punjab University, led by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali, has concluded a successful visit to China, during which several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with Chinese universities and research institutions.

The delegation, which included Dean Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Dean Geo Sciences Professor Dr. Sajid Rashid, and Governor House officials, represented Pakistan at the Asian International Conference. There, they exchanged views with representatives from various countries, paving the way for future partnerships with Punjab University. Delegates from six countries participated in the conference, where the Pakistani delegation presented information about their institution’s academic activities.

A notable achievement was the cooperation agreement established between Punjab University’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities and its counterpart at the University of Anhui. Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali presided over the signing ceremony. This agreement will facilitate academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and intercultural understanding. The Deans of both faculties viewed this arrangement as a positive development in Pakistan-China educational relations.
