Warm and dry weather forecast nationwide, Kashmir expected to have rain with strong winds and thunderstorms

According to the latest forecast made by the Meteorological Department today, hot and dry conditions are expected in most areas. However, strong winds and thunderstorms with rain may occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and surrounding mountainous areas.

The temperatures recorded this morning revealed different weather in major cities. Islamabad recorded a moderate 24°C, while Lahore and Karachi had temperatures of 28°C and 30°C, respectively.

Peshawar is scorching at 32°C, one of the highest temperatures among major centers. Quetta is relatively cool at 22°C, while Gilgit is even cooler at 18°C.

The mountainous location of Murree recorded a brisk 14°C, providing relief from the heat felt elsewhere. Muzaffarabad is also cool at 19°C, higher compared to regional heat.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and exercise caution in case these weather conditions persist.
