Weather – [ Weather Patterns, Temperature Changes ] Intense heat persists in Balochistan and Sindh, Kashmir partly cloudy, chance of rain

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast today that most parts of the country will experience intense hot and dry conditions, with particularly intense heat in Balochistan and Sindh.

In contrast, areas like South Punjab, northeastern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir may have partly cloudy skies. There is also a possibility of strong winds, thunderstorms, and occasional rain in these areas, especially in the evening and night.

In major cities, the morning temperatures were as follows: 24°C in Islamabad, 26°C in Lahore, and 30°C in Karachi. Peshawar recorded 28°C, while the temperature in Muzaffarabad was 21°C. It was 20°C in Quetta and 15°C in Gilgit, while Murree had the lowest at 14°C.

This weather pattern indicates a significant climatic disparity, where some areas are sweltering in intense heat, while other areas can expect temporary relief with rain and thunderstorms.
