SAKRAND: A woman fell from the window of a moving bus going to Karachi from Punjab near Sakrand on Friday.
The woman’s son Dilawar accused the driver of rash and careless driving which caused the accident and demanded his immediate arrest. The woman was identified as Zareena, aged 55. Her body was shifted to Taluka Hospital Sakrand for medico-legal formalities.
Dilawar alleged that the accident occurred during the crossing as the driver was over-speeding and the pressure brakes might have left her lose grip and she bounced out of her seat and fell down on the road from the window. Soon after the accident, the drive left the bus and fled.
