A young woman sacrificed her life protecting her brother during a violent clash over disputed land near Khairpur on Saturday. The tragic incident occurred in Ali Haider Jalbani village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Wada Machio police station. Two groups of the Jalbani community engaged in a bitter argument and exchange of fire over land ownership. During the firing, 22-year-old Ramsha Jalbani sustained a bullet injury and succumbed to her wounds. Wada Machio police officers arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and shifted it to Pir Jo Goth Hospital. After legal proceedings, the body was handed over to the heirs. Authorities have established a security checkpoint in the disputed area. No legal action has been initiated nor any arrests made until the filing of this report.
