ISLAMABAD:A woman and her son were killed when electricity cables fell on them due to sandstorm in Lahore on Monday.

According to the 1122 Rescue officials, the power lines broke due to the storm and fell on both of the victims in Lahore. The duo were travelling on a motorcycle when the cables hit them. The incident happened in Shahpur Kanjran locality on Multan Road of Lahore. Rescue officials handed the dead bodies to the police for further proceedings.
