Women of rural areas were suffered of poverty and unemployment Shehla Raza

Karachi, October 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): Women of rural areas were sustaining poverty, unemployment and lots of hurdles. These views were expressed by Syeda Shehla Raza, provincial minister, women development Sindh while addressing ceremony in connection of International rural women day organized by Badin women development association and district management Badin at Gymkhana hall. She said observance of the day aimed to reduce poverty and miseries of women of rural areas across the world with message of rights of women.

She said PPP government was striving hard to improve status of women of rural areas of Sindh province and for such initiative women were allotted soils and they were empowered by PPP government for their better livelihood. Shehla Raza said women were being financially assisted of Benazir Income support programme She said conditions were approaching towards change and betterment.

She said minor age weddings of poverty and illiteracy was phenomena should be overwhelmed. Shehla Raza said they were establishing complain centers to assist and support those feeble, deprived and helpless women to resolve their issues and justify them. Responding to a question in connection of by-elections, she said it was felt that people were pleased of price hike made by PTI government. The ceremony was also participated by Asif Jan Siddiqui, Deputy Commissioner Badin, Hassan Sardar Niazi, SSP Badin, Dr:Khalida Sikander Mandhro and others.
