On the order of Chief Minister Punjab, the construction work of the Cardiac Lab has started in Jhang, while the situation was reviewed in a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ali Akbar Bhinder for action against profiteers.
This high-level meeting was held on Wednesday on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the purpose of which was to review the implementation of various public service initiatives.
Senior officers of various district departments participated in the meeting to present reports on their respective sectors.
During the review, the officials supervising the “Suthra Punjab” initiative were directed to intensify the cleanliness campaign throughout the city and to advance the work on beautification schemes. The Highways Department was also directed to immediately complete the installation of kerbstones and the work of line marking on roads.
The administrative review also included a briefing on the implementation of the anti-smog campaign, the performance of price control magistrates, the progress of teams compiling the socio-economic registry, and the performance of revenue officers regarding the Plus Project.
