Karachi, February 14, 2018 (PPI-OT):A 02 member World Bank team on Land Management System, headed by Senior WB Specialist Ms. Mary Lesbeth called on Chief Secretary Sindh Rizwan Memon on Wednesday morning. Chairman Planning and Development Board Sindh Muhammad Waseem, Provincial Secretary S. Zulfiqar Shah and Member SBR (Sindh Board of Revenue) Manzoor Ahmed Shaikh were also present.
The Chief Secretary noted that the Integrated Land Records Management System has been evaluated in Sindh under which Reconstruction of Land Record on Computerized based has taken placed, while Facilitation Centres have been established in all District of Sindh to benefit the people, for verification and authentication of their properties / land records. Rizwan Memon also maintained that the Facilitation Centres are also being extended to Tehseel Level.
The Chairman P and D asserted that Sindh has sufficiently progressed in the task of reconstructing and computerizing the Land management Network to facilitate that concerned people. Ms. Mary Lesbith expressed satisfaction over the progress thereof. WB consultant Mr. Igor Popit also appreciated the task.
