Leaders of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) have issued a stern warning, stating that the world is heading towards a “major human tragedy” due to the inaction of global powers, and have called for immediate and practical measures to establish peace in conflict-ridden regions like Palestine, Kashmir, and Sudan.

In a statement issued today, PST Chairman Engineer Muhammad Sarwat Ejaz Qadri condemned the “silence and inaction” of the international community, which he claimed has fueled oppression in occupied territories. He maintained that organizations such as the United Nations, OIC, and human rights commissions must move beyond verbal condemnations to save the region from “continuous destruction.”

Qadri further demanded that the same standards of rule of law and fundamental rights ensured in Western countries be applied to Muslim nations. He identified these countries as the most affected regions, where millions of innocent lives are at stake due to wars, conspiracies, and injustice.

Central President Sahibzada Allama Bilal Abbas Qadri emphasized global solidarity, stating that for the sake of world peace, “all religions and nations must unite and stand against the oppressor.” He described the current global chaos and loss of life as a “wake-up call for all of humanity.”

Adding to the call, Central Secretary-General Sahibzada Allama Bilal Saleem Qadri said that disunity in the Muslim world has provided an opportunity for adversaries to spread further oppression. He argued that world leaders are “pushing humanity towards a catastrophe” by ignoring the ground realities.

Pakistan Sunni Tehreek concluded its statement by demanding that international institutions take “effective and concrete measures on an emergency basis” for Palestine, Kashmir, and other oppressed regions.
