Karachi, January 27, 2019 (PPI-OT): Former Test Player Younis Khan met with Director General KDA, Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui here in Civic Center. During meeting Sports Adviser Doctor Junaid Ali Shah, Chief Engineer Ram Chand, Director Land Asif Ali Memon, Director Sports Muhammad Nasir, Additional Director sports Ayaz Munshi, sports organizer M.Naseem, General Secretary Hockey Association Hyder Hussain and media coordinator Akram Sattar were also present there.
During meeting Former Cricketer Younis Khan said that KDA has played an important role for the promotion of sports activities across the city. He said that due to sincere efforts of Director General KDA, Youth will have a better facilities to boost up their abilities. Later on along with Director General Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui, former Test player visited KDA cricket stadium which is situated in scheme one. On that occasion Director General Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui announced Younis Khan as a cricket adviser and Named al Mansoora cricket stadium as a Younis Khan Academy.
“ In future Younis Academy will be idol for Youth as it will provide a better player who will serve for the nation and country” Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui added that. He said that more than 45 ground have been constructed while steps are being taken for construction of further sports ground across the city. On that occasion Sports Adviser Dr. Junaid Ali Shah said that youth will have a opportunity to learn from a national renowned cricketer.
Later on Director General Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui presented cultural token of Ajrak/Topi and Shield to Former Test Player Younis Khan while Chairman CBA Mazdoor Union Abdul Mateen Shaikh, General Secretary Ishfaque Chishti, Leader of Labour union Muhammad Ashraf, Information Secretary Employees union Abdul Maaroof were also present there.
