Obauro:A youth was axed to death on Mureed Shakh link road near Obauro on Friday.
Accused stopped a rickshaw on Mureed Shakh link road near Obauro and attacked youth Ashiq Khokhar with axes. Police said that the accused had kidnapped a woman, Haseena, two months back while the victim family said that the woman was with Ashiq for free will marriage.
The body was shifted to Taluka Hospital Obauro for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. A tense situation prevailed in the area after the murder.
