Kalat:Young resident of Killi Kihung, Dairy Farm, who was reported to be mentally unbalanced, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in district Kalat of Balochistan province on Sunday. According to police, one young man namely Mumtaz Ahmed allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in Killi Kihung Dairy Farm area of district Kalat in Balochistan province.
On information, SP, Kalat, Abdul Rauf Bareach and Station House Officer, Police Station, Kalat, Nazeer Ahmed Umrani reached the site and shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital, Kalat for post-mortem examination.
The body was handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. Brother of the deceased said that the deceased was mentally unbalanced. Kalat police started investigating after lodging First Information Report (F.I.R) of the incident. Further investigation into the matter was underway.
