Gujrat: A 21-year-old youth was mercilessly murdered by some influential people in Gujrat on Tuesday.

An exchange of hot words was told to be the reason behind the killing of Shahbaz. The gruesome incident happened in Jalalpur Jattan area of Gujrat where Shahbaz was tortured to death by some influential people. According to initial reports, the influential first tortured the youth and broke his arms and legs and then shot him in the head, which resulted in his death.

Police found the dead body in the fields with Shahbaz’s hands tied behind his back and a gunshot in the head. Police registered an FIR against five suspects and two unknown person and started an investigation but have yet to make any arrest. The bereaved family has refused to bury the youth’s body unless they get justice while demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
