LARKANA: As many as 131 nomination forms were obtained by various candidates to contest upcoming general elections on two national and four provincial assembly seats of Larkana on the first day.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has already announced to contest polls on NA-200 and his form was also obtained. Form of Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur were also obtained for PS-10. Form of other candidates were also secured including Nisar Ahmed Khuhro for PS-11, Adnan Unar for PS-12, Haji Munwar Ali Abbasi, Moazim Abbasi and Kazim Abbasi for PS-11 of Pakistan Peoples Party Workers and Rauf Korai, Safdar Abbasi for NA-201.
As many as 22 nomination forms were received for PS-10 Ratodero from the Returning Officer Mohammad Ali Ruk. The candidates for whom forms were obtained include PPP’s Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Mohammad Ali Bhutto, Engineer Saifullah Abro, Rahmatullah Abro and Qurban Bhutto. Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto of Pakistan Tahreek Insaf (PTI), Babu Nusrat Hussain Soomro, Nazir Hussain Abbasi, advocates Mohammad Bachal Mangi and Ghulam Murtaza Tunio, were among independent candidates. For three days, this process shall continue as the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has fixed 8th June as the last date for receipt of nomination forms.
