KARACHI:Vice President Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq said Monday that MMA would hold a historic public gathering on 15 July at Hasan Square which would prove that the city is belongs to MMA.
The MMA leader Haq expressed these views during his visit to Baldia Town No.7, Bab-e-Khyber Metroville and Lyari Chakiwara today. He said that PML-N, PPP and MQM had failed to provide basic necessities to masses as those parties hadmultiplied the woes of the masses.
“The MMA will impose Islamic laws in the country and make the country a real welfare and Islamic state,” he vowed.
He further said that the corruption had completely destroyed the resources of the country, so the people would reject those corrupt rulers on 25 July. Haq further said that the accountability of Nawaz Sharif was not enough. The accountability of those corrupt rulers should also be conducted who looted Pakistan Steel Mills, WAPDA and PTCL.
The JI Ameer further said that the MMA leaders were free from corruption charges and the people would elect those honest leadership in the upcoming elections.
“The victory of MMA is certain in the general elections, as the masses are well aware of those corrupt leaders who have been minting money and building their properties by damaging the national exchequer,” Siraj added.
He said that the Islamic state would resolve the issues of the masses and the MMA’s honest leadership was capable to do so for the people of the country.
Haq further said that MMA, after winning the elections, would ensure smooth supply of water and power, adding that the present rulers had deprived the masses of basic necessities including water, power and others.
The MMA leaders, including Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Naseem Siddiqui and others, were also present on the occasion.
