HYDERABAD: The Centre of Excellence in Art & Design (CEAD), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro awarded scholarship cheques to 26 students of various departments.
Merit-cum-poverty scholarship is annually awarded to deserving students who qualify on merit and pass a strict screening by the scholarship committee. Director CEAD Prof Dr Bhai Khan Shar awarded the cheques worth Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000 to students.
Khushboo Jarwar, Um-e-Rubab, Aamir Khan, Iqra Javed, Faiza Kazmi, Mohammad Rehman, Rana Ihtsham, Suhera Siddiqui, Ibrar Hussain, Tania Panhwar, Mohammad Ayub, Siraj Ahmad, Ghulam Asghar, Zahoor Ahmad, Muharam Ali, Abdul Latif and others were awarded with scholarships.
Heads of different departments Prof. Atta-ul-Munim Bullo, Prof. Ali Abbas Jafferi, Prof. Aijaz Chaudary, Shahid Qayoom Memon and deputy director finance Asif Ali Shar were present on the occasion.
