KARACHI: Karachi police on Thursday claimed to have arrested four criminals, including a Lyari gang war’s extortionist in targeted raids from different parts of the metropolis.
According to SSP West, Umar Shahid on a tip-off, a police team carried out a targeted raid in Shershah area and detained a Lyari gang war’s extortionist, Imran Sohail alias Kaka. The accused was stated to be involved in criminal activities and wanted to police in several extortion cases in the city.
Separately, Orangi town police arrested three wanted land grabbers, Amanullah, Ekramullah and Ajmirain. The police shifted them to undisclosed location for further investigation.
