Bomb blasts a conspiracy to postpone polls: Khuhro

LARKANA: PPP Sindh Chief Nisar Khuhro said Saturday that the bomb blasts in Mastung and KP are a conspiracy to postpone elections.

He was addressing various corner meetings in connection with election campaign of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his daughter Nida Khuhro in Larkana. He said such incidents were a question mark over the performance of interim government. Khuhro said PPP would continue to raise its voice against terrorism and would not confine its election campaigns.

He demanded of the caretakers to provide foolproof security to the politicians so that they could carry out electioneering freely and independently. He said giving advise to PPP to limit its campaign and security clearance of pro-terrorist Ladla had showed double standards. He said some people were talking about making a new province in Sindh and others were favouring construction of Kalabagh Dam but PPP would fight against those anti-Sindh elements.

He said: “Opponents are trying to purchase people but people will never sell themselves. The father of Moulvi who is contesting election against Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was elected to Senate by PPP but JUI-Fazal did not give four votes in KPK to Farhatullah Babar. Now they are fighting against us.”
