SIALKOT: The national flag-career Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will start its Hajj flights operation from Sialkot international airport here today (Sunday).
Director Hajj Operations Syed Mujeeb Akbar Shah told the newsmen that the first Hajj flight of PIA will take off to Jeddah-Saudi Arabia from Sialkot international airport on Sunday.
The senior officials of the Ministry of the Religious Affairs, Hajj Operation Programme , PIA and SIAL will see -off the Hajj pilgrims during a prestigious ceremony to be held at the airport.
Director Hajj Operations Syed Mujeeb Akbar Shah revealed that PIA will transport as many as 3800 male and female Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from Sialkot international airport through PIA’s eleven Hajj flights.
He said that the preventive vaccination to 2000 Hajj pilgrims out of total 3000 has been completed as well
