CM assures industrialists of resolving issues

KARACHI:Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Fazal-ur-Rehman held two separate meetings with industrialists here at the CM House on Monday and assured them of resolving their issues on priority basis.

The chief minister held first meeting with a 16-member delegation of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) led by Siraj Qasim Teli and discussed issues of encroachments, traffic jams and water with them. The delegation told the chief minister that there were growing encroachments in different industrial areas of the city. They said that due to encroachments, traffic jams and other issues had cropped up. Rehman directed deputy commissioners to remove encroachments anddirect traffic police to streamline traffic flow in the industrial areas.

The chief minister said that after completion of K-IV project, water issue would be resolved to some extent. He said that there was dire need to treat waste water and use it again for industrial purposes. The chief minister held other meeting with the industrialists of SITE area led by Zubair Motiwala and listened to their problems. He assured that the provincial government would resolve their issues on priority basis.
