NAUSHEHRO FEROZ:Local political and social activists, along with citizens, held a protest demonstration outside local press club on Tuesday to press the provincial government to upgrade the civil hospital of the city and end shortage of medicines an doctors.
The protesters, including Atta Muhammad Solangi and Younus Rajpar, also staged a sit-in for some time and raised slogans against the government for not providing better health facilities despite keeping its health sector among its top priorities.
They demanded of the government to provide required medicines to the patients of the hospital besides ending doctors’ shortage so that patients could take a sigh of relief. They also demanded immediate upgradation of the hospital.
