NASEERABAD: The residents of Naseerabad’s Union Council Muradi on Monday held a protest demonstration on the bypass against prolonged power outages in their villages.
The villagers Noor Sooho, Waheed Sooho, Mumtaz Phulpoto, and Ali Gohar Khoso along with other people blocked Naseerabad by-pass, causing traffic jam.
The protesters chanted slogans against HESCO Warrah Sub Divisional Officer and demanded his immediate removal. They said that over seven villages of UC Muradi had been deprived of the electricity since last four months as a result, people were in trouble.
They said people were facing difficulties, while children could not study in the nights, which was a great loss.
The villagers appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan, Sindh Chief Minister and SEPCO to resolve the power outages problem so that they could take a sigh of relief from the heat wave.
