NANKANA SAHIB: Eight people were killed and 30 injured in a traffic accident in Safdarabad area of the city on late Friday night.
According to rescue sources, a fast-moving passenger bus overturned on Mananawala Road in Safdarabad. As a result, eight people suffered severe injuries and died on the spot, while, 30 other were injured in the accident.
The bodies and injured were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital Safdarabad for autopsies and treatment, respectively.
