KHAIRPUR:A girl was killed over notorious tradition of Karo-Kari in Ghotki on Sunday.
According to Ghotki police, some armed persons attacked a house in Mirani Mohalla and fired shots with pistol on a young girl, Munawar Khatoon Mirani. As a result, she was injured seriously.
She was shifted to Mirpur Mathelo Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The cause of murder was stated to be notorious tradition of Karo-Kari.
Ghotki police handed over the body to heirs after completion of a postmortem examination from the hospital. They could not register the case till filing of the story.
