Ignored villagers demand uplift schemes

NAUNDERO:The residents of village Hameer Shar, located in between Naundero and Garhi Khuda Bux, are still awaiting development schemes.

They have erected a large banner at the entrance of their village for all the contesting candidates stating that they will cast their votes in favour of those candidate who undertakes to provide them all fundamental rights and necessary development schemes after being elected.

The villagers Shahnawaz Shar, Nawab Ali Shar, Hanif Shar, Ali Gul Shar and others aslo held a protest demonstration in the village and told newsmen that their village is located near Naundero but they were still awaiting development schemes as if they weree living in Tharparkar.

They said that so far not a single elected representative of national or provincial assembly had given them any uplift scheme which had exposed their working. They said: “Being poor in the world is a great sin because humans have reached the moon but they are still demanding sewerage drains, pavers and other necessities.” They said that their village is located between Rice Canal and Saidu minor but they had not yet been provided a bridge to cross the minor due to which they always faced worst difficulties. They demanded all basic facilities of life.
