KARACHI:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Syed Kaleem Imam Friday ordered an inquiry into mysterious suicide by a student of Liaquat University Medical and Science Jamshoro.
IGP instructed DIG Hyderabad to provide a detailed inquiry into the incident. The investigation should be conducted properly to dig out the real causes of the incident. A third-year MBBS student identified as Muhammad Atif Arain was found shot dead in his hostel room at the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Sindh’s Jamshoro city on Thursday.
According to a LUMHS spokesman Dr Saroop Bhatia, Arain was found lying on his bed with a pistol in his hand.
