KP: (KP govt spending Rs9bn on provision of clean drinking water schemes to masses)

Peshawar: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is spending about nine billion rupees on provision of clean drinking water schemes in southern districts of the province.

A spokesman of Public Health Engineering Department told that government has initiated work on more than nine hundred clean drinking water schemes in Kohat, Bannu, Karak, Lakki Mart, Tank and DI Khan districts, out of which four hundred and forty five water schemes have been completed.

Similarly, one hundred tube-wells converted into solar energy in southern parts to ensure un-interpreted supply of clean drinking water.
