KARACHI:A local court on Saturday awarded death sentence to a man in a murder case.
The court of south Karachi announced its judgment as the crime was proven against accused Babar Ali Ansari. It also imposed a fine of Rs300,000 against the accused.
According to police, Babar Ali Ansari, killed a man, Muhammad Ramzan, and injured Nisar Ahmed and Rafiq Ahmed with a knife in 2012. The accused went to a private firm for getting his CNIC where he stabbed Muhammad Ramzan to death when he could not get CNIC.
Two people Nisar Ahmed and Rafiq Ahmed came to rescue Ramzan but he also got them injured.
A case was registered against the accused at Defence police station.
