Karachi:National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi has filed a reference, after completion of investigation in Accountability Court, against Javed Iqbal, Ghani Builders and Developers and Waseem Ahmed upon the receipts of various complaints submitted by the allottees/ affectees of M/s Rufi Pearl City.
The reference was filed against Javed Iqbal and Waseem Ahmed and revenue officers consequent upon the approval of regional board headed by DG NAB Karachi.
The Investigation proceedings revealed that the owners/accused persons in connivance with officers of Board of Revenue made fictitious and fake entries and grabbed government land measuring 19-20 acres at Scheme-33, Karachi.
The investigation has revealed that based on the prevailing market rate the accused persons caused a loss amounting to Rs1950million to the national exchequer, says a NAB release.
