ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to initiate legal action against corrupt elements in different government departments.
This decision was taken during a meeting in Peshawar on Monday with Director General NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Farmanullah Khan in the chair.
The meeting approved initiating inquiry against corrupt persons in FATA Disaster Management Authority, Education and Health Departments for illegal appointments and embezzlements of funds.
The meeting also decided to start inquiry in illegal award of contract of Gas Processing and LPG recovery Plant at Nashapa Oil Field, District Karak by some elements in Oil and Gas Development Company Limited.
Speaking on the occasion DG NAB said across the board accountability will be conducted to eliminate corruption from the society.
