ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, two third Pakistanis (68%) claim to have heard/read about US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israeli capital.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Recently, US President Donald Trump recognized occupied Jerusalem as Israeli capital and decided to shift the U.S embassy there. Please tell us if you have heard or read about this.” Responding to this, 68% said yes and 32% said no.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.
The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1690 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, December 10- December 16, 2017. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
