KARACHI:Karachi police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 11 drug peddlers from different parts of the city.
According to police sources, SHO Docks along with police party conducted raids in Macchar Colony and Sultanabad areas and arrested five drug peddlers, Mudasar Hussain son of Muhammad Aslam, Bhai Jaan son of Peer Muhammad, Aisha wife of Muhammad Siraj, Bilal son of Abdullah and Abdul Razzak son of Yaqoob. The police also recovered a huge quantity of hashish and weapon from their possession.
Separately, during crackdown on drug pushers in Karli, Kharadar and Jackson areas police arrested six accused identified as Javed alias Jawa, Arshad Hussain, Muhammad Shafi, Ahmad Ali, Muhammad Saud and Waqas and recovered weapons and hashish from them.
Police have registered FIRs against detainees and started further investigation.
