Shikarpur:A positive case of Polio was detected in Shikarpur district.
According to reports, a baby Sobia, 36 months, daughter of Wajid Ali Pahore, resident of village Areeja, Union Council Garhi Dakho, Taluka Khanpur, district Shikarpur was reported as a polio patient.
The District Health Officer Shikarpur Dr. Shabeer Ahmed Shaikh confirmed the case and said that the samples of suspected polio case were referred to Islamabad, which confirmed that baby Sobia is affected by polio virus.
