ISLAMABAD:President Dr. Arif Alvi in a message on the occasion of New Year has prayed for the oppressed Kashmiris facing Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir.
On twitter, he also wished the happiness of New Year to all.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser also in his message of New Year said that Pakistan is committed to a peaceful South Asian region.
He urged the international community to play its role to end the lockdown in occupied Kashmir and resolve this issue in accordance with UN resolutions.
Meanwhile, in his New Year message, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar congratulated the nation and hoped that Pakistan will become economically stable, peaceful and powerful in year 2020.
He said the New Year will bring a real and positive change in the country.
