Rally demands regularization of IBA-pass head masters

LARKANA: The members of Gazetted Officers Association, School Administration, Sindh, took out a rally against what they called “protest against artificial management, which after marching through various roads, culminated in front of local press club here on Saturday.

Prior to the rally, they held a meeting of general council of Larkana Division at Government Girls Higher Secondary School under the chairmanship of its president Manzoor Mangi, which was participated by teachers of Shikarpur, Kashmore @ Kandhkot, Kambar-Shahdadkot, Larkana and Jacobabad districts. Hakima Khuhro, Ashique Memon, Nazir Dayo, Kamal Kumar, Aziz Buriro, Abdul Wahid Memon, Sanaullah Agani, Iqbal Shah, Ayaz Chandio, Anees Jalbani, Abida Chajro, Ayesha Hulio, Badaruddin Samejo and others also attended the meeting.

While addressing the participants, they said that during 2014 when Fazalullah Pechuho was the education secretary, non-professional officers were taken through management cadre system despite availability of professionals which had ruined their career and termed it a conspiracy to destroy entire education system. They demanded revival of old education system which was in force before 2014.

They further demanded regularization of IBA pass head masters and revival of time scale to those senior officers who were denied this facility and promotions on 4-tier formula. They said they had already sent their charter of demands to Sindh government which should be implemented or else, they warned, they will widen their protest in the entire province with the help of Government Secondary Teachers Association (GSTA) and Primary Teachers Association (PTA), as talks with them are underway.
