ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Sehat Insaf Card and Ehsaas program are practical steps under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of holding the hand of the deprived, poor and the needy to take them to the path of economic and social prosperity.
In a series of tweet on Sunday, she said the Prime Minister is companion of common men and to uplift their living standard is his aim.
She said 10.5 million families will benefit from Sehat Insaf Card. She said needy people will be provided free medical treatment in government hospitals upto 720000 rupees under one Sehat Insaf Card. She said under the vision of Prime Minister these cards will be distributed among 15 million people in next two years.
She said the main purpose of Ehsaas program is to eradicate poverty from the country making the poor part of economic development.
