KARACHI:Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday acquitted a suspect by abolishing a trial court’s judgment, who was booked in a case pertaining to possession of explosives.
A SHC bench heard a plea filed by Javed seeking suspension of sentence awarded to him over possessing explosive material. The bench abolished the trial court’s decision of serving punishment to Javed and ordered his release.
A trial court had sentenced accused Javed to 14 years of imprisonment in 2016 over the possession of explosive material.
