KARACHI:Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday sought an updated report from the Investigation Officer (IO) of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against former secretary of Sindh local government Ramzan Awan within two weeks in case pertaining to giving commercial status to plots.
A SHC bench heard a plea filed by Awan seeking extension in his interim bail which the court extended for two weeks.
IO told the court that investigation against the former secretary was still ongoing. According to NAB, being member of Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Awan gave commercial status to plots worth billions of rupees. However, former secretary stated that NAB officials were harassing him.
