Karachi:Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) has announced boycott of courts on Wednesday.
A SHCBA release here Tuesday said on the prompt and swift action of the HCBA, the Hon’ble Chie Justice of Pakistan has been pleased to suspend the Call up notice issued o a member of this bar and has further issued a show cause notice to the IO concerned. We are grateful to the Hon’ble CJP and the learned full bench of the honorable SC for protecting the integrity and independence of this bar.
According to Honorary Secretary Sindh High Court Bar Association Syed Khurram Nizam, the SHCBA and its members shall observe complete boycott of Sindh High Court Proceedings tomorrow (12.12.2018) to strongly condemn the refusal and failure of the learned divisional bench of the Hon’ble Sindh High Court to protect the bona fide professional work of Advocates.
All members are requested to ensure that the call of boycott by the SHCBA is made successful and it is the duty of each and every member to adhere to this call. This boycott/protest is essential for the protection and independence of the Bar and to protect the integrity of advocates.
