Sindh pension center opened in Larkana

LARKANA:Accountant General Sindh Ghufran Memon has said that they want that pensioners should get pension while sitting at home.

Addressing a ceremony after inauguration of Sindh Pension Center at District Accounts Office here on Monday, he said I see my parents in every pensioner. He said after introduction of this system every pensioner’s pension will be directly credited into his bank account within one day and they will not feel any difficulty to withdraw the amount.

Memon said relevant departments should prepare documents of those officials two months before their retirement so that pension could be given to them in one day after retirement.

He said this system has already been introduced in Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kambar-Shahdadkot, Kandhkot and other districts where excellent results are achieved and pensioners greatly benefited.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nauman Siddique said that this is a very good system which will ease the difficulties of retired government servants and they will not run from pillar to post to get pension.

District Accounts Officer, Altaf Mangi, said on the occasion that out of 9888 pensioners as many as 7503 have been included in Direct Credit System and verification of 2385 pensioners is underway who too will soon be included in the system.

AG Sindh also planted a sapling in the District Accounts Office.

Earlier, Ghufran Memon also inaugurated Sindh Pension Center in Jacobabad.

Abdul Aziz Zai, Additional Deputy Accountant General Sindh,, Abdul Majid Rajpar, Abdul Rauf Soomro, Abdul Hafeez Deedar and others were also present.
