Smuggled goods worth Rs100mn recovered from Quetta

QUETTA:Pakistan Customs Quetta and FC Balochistan in a joint operation seized foreign goods amounting to ten crore rupees on Friday.

According to spokesman of Pakistan Customs Quetta, a raid was conducted by Pakistan Customs Quetta and Frontier Corps Balochistan jointly on a tip off at a warehouse situated in Kuchlak area of the provincial capital and they seized smuggled items.

The value of seized items was reported to be about ten core rupees. The seized items that were shifted to customs house included cigarette, gutika, tyres and gears of electronics.

Chief Collector Customs, Quetta Dr Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhry hailed the performance of his staff.
