KHAIRPUR:Three people, including two brothers, were killed and five others injured over a land dispute near Faiz Ganjj on Friday.
Two groups of Lashari tribe clashed over a land dispute near village Nandero Wari Pat within the jurisdiction of Akri police station in taluka Faiz Gunj. They exchanged fire with sophisticated weapons as a result, two brothers Kashif Ali Lashari and Allah Bachayo Lashari and their uncle Shah Nawaz Lashari were killed on the spot while five others suffered injuries. The bodies and injured were shifted to Taluka Hospital Faiz Ganjj.
Area police reached the scene after four hours and controlled the situation by establishing a picket near the village. Police said that the land dispute was running between uncle and his nephew since long.
Police could neither register the case nor could arrested anyone till filing the news.
