KARACHI:Mother of Lyari gangster, Uzair Baloch, on Tuesday reached the Sindh High Court (SHC) appealing for production of her son before the court.
Assistant Inspector General Police (Legal) and Deputy Attorney General sought time for submitting their replies.
SHC heard the petition filed by Razia Begum, mother of Baloch, and gave the deadline to Inspector General legal and Deputy Attorney General for submitting their replies.
However, Inspector General Prisons Sindh submitted report in the court , which said Baloch has been in the custody of security agencies since 11th April 2017. He was handed over to the Rangers in the court of judicial magistrate.
The petitioner stated that Uzair Baloch’s arrest was announced through media and he was charged with more than 40 cases. She also said that Baloch is produced before court after 12th April 2017. She said they have concerns that Baloch might be disappeared.
The petitioner appealed to the court for the issuance of orders for the production of Baloch before court.
