KARACHI:Two alleged criminals were wounded and arrested during separate police encounters in different localities here on Friday.
According to police sources, an encounter took place near Super Highway within the limits of the Sohrab Goth police station, where one criminal, Kaleem son of Ghulam Nabi, was shot and injured by cops, while his two accomplices managed to flee to unknown destination.
The injured accused arrested by police and was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment. Separately, a 30-year-old, Ayub, son of Ibrahim, was injured in a shootout with police near Paposh Nagar graveyard within the remit of the North Nazimabad police station. The accused was shifted to ASH for treatment in the custody of police.
