NAUSHEHRO FEROZ:,,, A woman allegedly jumped into Rohri Canal along with her two minor daughters, killing herself and a daughter, however, a girl was saved by people at the scene, near Manharo on Tuesday.
Sahiba along with her two minor daughters Kiran, aged four months, and Saba, aged 4 years, jumped into Rohri Canal in village Haji Waris Dahri Taluka Moro. The people present at the scene rescued Kiran alive and recovered the woman’s body. However, efforts were underway to recover another drowned girl.
The police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to Taluka Hospital Moro for an autopsy. The cause behind the incident was stated to be suicide but the woman’s brother said that the incident could not be ascertained as suicide because an autopsy report will only prove it. However, further investigation into the incident was underway, the police said.
