THATTA:Two persons were shot dead and one other was injured over a matrimonial dispute near Thatta on Sunday.
Three armed men riding a bike opened fire on a rickshaw on Jhampir Satyun Road near Dargah Satyun, killing Mohammad Ramzan Brohi and Noor Mohammad Brohi on the spot and injuring Maaro Brohi. However, three people remained safe during the attack. The incident was stated to be the result of a matrimonial dispute between two groups of Brohi community.
The bodies and injured were brought to Civil Hospital Thatta for autopsies and treatment. The police have started search for the attackers.
A large number of people belonging to Brohi community staged a protest demonstration by keeping bodies on National Highway near local press club. They demanded registration of case against the killers and their immediate arrest.
